Pontaj Real: actual working hours and rest
Pontaj Real is MIR’s active documentary campaign. We ask hospitals how they record actual working time, correct overtime and ensure rest after on-call work.
368 institutions contacted: 36 substantive responses; 3 refusals with factual clarifications; 8 other human or procedural reactions; 10 registration-only replies; 3 automated acknowledgements; 268 without an observed response in the earlier cohort; 40 without a reaction in the new cohort.
The cohorts are 312 + 56. In the new cohort, 50 still await a substantive response, including procedural replies. New correspondence verified on 2026-10-15; older dossiers retain their own evidence dates. Page updated 2026-10-17.

Sources and limits stay together.
Romanian law, EU working-time rules, ACGME 2026, NHS electronic staff scheduling, GIRFT theatre guidance and public reporting are used within their stated scope.
Public reporting
Aggregate transparency, protected individual data.
Individual records support fair internal management and correction. Public reporting remains aggregated and does not expose patient data or nominal doctor rankings.
